Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Hayven ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Hayven is a Twitch bot platform that provides chat commands, viewer engagement tools (streaks, redemption tracking, leaderboards), and channel management features. The platform is invite-only. Access is granted by the platform operator via an invite code.

3. Accounts

• You must have a valid Twitch account to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any OAuth connections you authorise.
• You must not share your invite code publicly or allow others to access your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Twitch in your country) to use the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or abuse other users or third parties.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform's APIs or infrastructure.
• Use the Service in any way that violates Twitch's, Discord's, or Google's Terms of Service.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose under applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or the platform's backend systems.

5. Platform content and data

Viewer activity data (streaks, redemptions, event counts) generated in your channel is associated with your account. You grant us a limited licence to process and display this data to power the Service's features. We do not sell this data or use it outside the platform.

You retain ownership of any custom command text, shoutout messages, or other content you create within the platform.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available but make no guarantees about uptime or availability. The Service is provided as-is during its current early-access phase. Features may change, be added, or be removed.

7. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAYVEN AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove any account that violates these terms, abuses the platform, or causes harm to other users - at our sole discretion and without prior notice. You may also delete your own account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the platform operator is based. Any disputes will be resolved in that jurisdiction's courts.
